Stefan Liniger is a Senior Advisor at Ispahani Advisory and is based in Zurich. Stefan is the Delegate of the Board of Kaiser Partner’s Wealth Advisory and Trust business a leading wealth advisory group in family ownership, with roots that stretch back to 1931, operating from Vaduz and Zurich.
Specialising in advising entrepreneurs and families globally, Stefan helps clients tackle strategic planning issues and challenges faced in the transition, governance, and protection of their wealth. He serves as board member of family businesses, acts as trustee, protector and executor and as a long-term sparring partner for entrepreneurs and families.
Stefan studied law at the University of Zurich (Dr.iur.) and at Cornell Law School (LL.M.). He is a (non-practising) member of the Swiss Bar, of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and regularly lectures on wealth management topics. His passion for holistically advising families and for the “psychology of wealth” has inspired him to do a postgraduate diploma in Psychosynthesis counseling which will be completed in June 2019.
After completing his legal studies in 1996, Stefan worked as a researcher at the University of Zurich, as a management consultant, and practiced law for over ten years, becoming a partner with Bär and Karrer, Zurich. He then created and led the Wealth Planning function at Goldman Sachs‘ Swiss bank, prior to joining Rothschild & Co. where he was the Chief Executive of Rothschild & Co.‘s Global Wealth Planning and Trust business and a Global Partner. Stefan joined Kaiser Partner in early 2019.
He is a native German speaker, fluent in English and French.
