Charlie is Managing Partner at digital risk consultancy Digitalis and has over 25 years’ experience advising clients on online reputation strategies, crisis communications and digital privacy.
As well as advising some of the world’s leading multinational corporations and private clients on digital strategy, Charlie is particularly focused on helping family offices understand the security and reputational threats which emerge from the internet. He is a recognised expert in helping clients understand the extent of their digital footprint and how that affects how their businesses are perceived. He is also a leading pioneer in digital resilience and how to prepare and respond to a communications crisis.
Prior to Digitalis, he was Deputy CEO of G3, an international consulting firm that advises global companies and international law firms on cybersecurity and political risk. He ran their Private Client division and their global operations before overseeing the launch of the company’s cyber practice and expansion into international markets. In 2011, G3 was successfully sold to Europe’s leading technology investment holding company.
An expert in navigating and understanding disinformation and misinformation on the internet, Charlie has co-authored two books on the subject of helping family offices in this specialised skill as well as writing for the International Family Offices Journal on the topic. An alumni of Columbia Business School’s Executive Leadership Course, Charlie was recognised by Spear’s magazine as a Top Recommended specialist in reputation management in 2021.
