Jessica McGawley is a consulting psychologist and the Founder of Dallington, a specialist mentorship practice for the rising generation.
Jessica founded Dallington after many years working with families and family offices from all over the globe. Prior to setting up Dallington, she was Head of Operations for a consulting boutique which worked with legacy families to manage the challenges of successful transitioning to the next generation. Jessica led the division focused on the rising generation, supporting them through the transition process. She used her experience and network to recruit outstanding talent and to understand the areas that require enhanced support, enabling Dallington to build a curriculum with world class content delivered by industry leading experts, underpinning the mentorship, therapy and coaching that her team provide.
Jessica’s experience of working with families undergoing transition, paired with her training and understanding of human behaviour, is what enabled her to launch her mentorship practice, however it is the constant input and feedback from her mentees and their parents that enables their support to continually evolve and meet the ever-changing needs of the rising next generation.
Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Ethnomusicology and African Culture from SOAS, a postgraduate diploma in in Counselling and Psychotherapy and Masters in Consulting and leading in organisations: Psychodynamic and systemic approaches from The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. She is also an IMPC and IMI qualified mediator.
Jessica is a Trustee of the Cassandra Learning Centre, a charity that focuses on supporting victims of domestic abuse, a Governor of Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy in Hackney, London, was the youngest ever board member of the United Nations Women London, setting up their first mentoring scheme in 2012, has been a guest speaker on the Henley Business School Family Office Programme and is listed as one of the world’s top problem solvers in Tatler’s High Net Worth address book.
